My kids are both huge snackers–they prefer snacks over meals half of the time, and I’m always on the hunt for the healthiest and most filling snacks that I can find. Often times, we pack lots of fresh fruit with us when we leave the house, but I wanted to find something that’s a little more portable and diaper bag friendly.
A lot of the time, they end up wanting to share snacks (or just steal each other’s), so I need to get something that is toddler AND kid friendly.
A few months ago, I ran across these Beech-Nut® Naturals Fruity Oat Bars, and immediately threw them in my cart. I’ve always been a huge fan of snack bars because you can just throw them into your purse or bag and go…they don’t make a huge mess, they don’t leak, etc.
A lot of the times though, ones that I’ve found contain a lot of artificial ingredients are just loaded with junk in a “healthy” wrapper. I love that these Fruity Oat Bars contain no added sugar and only five ingredients! (Whole Grain Oats, Raisins, Dates, Sunflower Oil, and Dried Strawberries or Bananas). They’re also Gluten-Free, if that’s something that you need to be mindful of for your family.
They come in both Strawberry and Banana and both of my kids love them. (I even tried them and they’re pretty tasty). I’ve found them at 3 of my local grocery stores, and they’re super affordable. I buy a new box, or two, every single week and my kids gobble them up. I swear, they would have 2-3 a day if I let them.
Beech-Nut® Naturals has always been a brand that has real ingredients that I know I am able to trust, and I’m so glad that they’ve ventured into Toddler Snacks, because I had no idea that these even existed until I saw them in store! (They also make yogurt melts which I’m excited to grab the next time we go grocery shopping).

It’s also really easy to sneak these into pasta sauce (pesto, alfredo, or marinara!), oatmeal, and yogurt.
