I’ve prepped my menu and I’ve ordered my groceries. It’s nearly Thanksgiving and I am so excited to host my fifth consecutive one by myself! This is one of my favorite times of the year. And I’ve always said that I think my Love Language is feeding people. (I know that’s not a real love language). But, I love making people delicious food and enjoying their company. You’re always welcome at my house!
When I received my Thanksgiving: Time For Turkey BabbleBoxx, I was really excited to put all of these Fall Favorites to good use. From Thanksgiving Appetizers to Getting Creative with Thanksgiving Leftovers, check out the ways that I used these awesome items that I received! (There’s also some sweet coupon codes so you can try some of these products out in your home!)
Butter Parmesan Sauce from RAGÚ®
We’re huge cheese lovers, and even bigger pasta lovers, so I knew that this NEW Butter Parmesan Sauce from RAGÚ® would do well in my house. A sauce made with Aged Parmesan Cheese and Real Butter, the simple flavors that will leave even the pickiest eaters thankful for this meal!
You can click through here to see how I used this sauce to create a Cheesy Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Casserole with Bacon, Brussel Sprouts, and fresh Parmesan Cheese.
If that doesn’t sound like your thing, check out this recipe for a perfect and quick Real Deal 3-Minutes Mac!
Chimichurri Baked Pea Crisps Snacks from Peeled Snacks
We’re huge snackers, and love trying new snacks. The kids already loved pea snacks, and these Chimichurri Baked Pea Crisps offered a new and bright flavor that we’ve never had before! These are a naturally gluten-free, plant-based protein, healthy on-the-go snack for life’s adventures.
I decided to incorporate them into our Thanksgiving Day Meal by using them to decorate our Cheese Ball Appetizer. Check out how ADORABLE and kid-friendly this appetizer is.
You can click through to see my friend Caitlin’s Cheese Ball Recipe here. Squeezable Organic Virgin Coconut Oil & Squeezable Organic Steam Refined Coconut Oil from Nutiva
I was so excited to see the Nutiva Squeezable Coconut Oils in my box! There are two options to choose from: Nutiva Squeezable Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and Nutiva Squeezable Organic Steam Refined Coconut Oil. We use coconut oil for everything from cooking to skincare (both of my kids have horrible eczema, especially in the winter time). The fact that this comes in a squeezable pouch is so convenient. The innovative pouch packaging makes cooking and baking with coconut oil easy and totally mess-free!
If you’ve yet to try coconut oil in the kitchen, you can use it anywhere that you would normally use butter or other kinds of cooking oil. The coconut oil is creamy, cold-pressed, and has a light coconut flavor. (I love the smell it creates while it’s getting hot).
I knew that I wanted to use the Organic Virgin Coconut Oil when I created my Pan-Fried Leftover Mashed Potato Pancakes (you can check that recipe out here).

Offer valid 10/25/19-1/1/20; cannot be combined with other offers, limit one use per customer.
The Joys of Baking from Running Press
I’ve been enjoying (no pun intended) The Joys of Baking from Running Press so much. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to really sit down and take in a book, and I’m glad that it’s this! Being in the kitchen has always been therapeutic for me, and I’ve really dived head first into learning the ins and outs of baking. This book packed full of tried and true recipes like chocolate cake, but it also has more adventurous ones like Coconut and Passion Fruit Pound Cake.
While skimming through the recipes, I came across one that just screamed “Holiday Breakfast”– Sweet Potato Cinnamon Buns With Browned Butter Cream Cheese Glaze. Immediately, I knew that I needed to practice these for those chilly Holiday mornings. THEY WERE SUCH A HIT! This was my first time making cinnamon rolls that weren’t from a container, and I can never go back. Needless to say, I can’t wait to try another recipe from this book. (This would also make an amazing Christmas Gift for the aspiring foodie in your life).
